It was a career highlight for me to write the gala script for New York Theatre Workshop’s 40th Anniversary. Andrew Neisler directed and I got to know the wonderful team at NYTW. Heidi Schreck (Broadway’s “What the Constitution Means to Me”) and Jeremy O. Harris (Broadway’s “Slave Play” and “Daddy”) were the hosts and I was tickled to hear these great playwrights perform my jokes.
