It was a career highlight for me to write the gala script for New York Theatre Workshop’s 40th Anniversary. Andrew Neisler directed and I got to know the wonderful team at NYTW. Heidi Schreck (Broadway’s “What the Constitution Means to Me”) and Jeremy O. Harris (“Slave Play” and “Daddy”) were the hosts and I was tickled to hear these great playwrights perform my jokes.
I’ll be playing Logainne Schwartzandgrubenniere! (She’s the political one who is stressed out and has two dads!) Katia Koziara’s upcoming short film, “Artist’s Apartment” will be ready for release soon. I am one of four actors in this, her newest project. Katia is a terrific director and someone I hope to be working with often and always.
I scripted a series of 3 videos for Intuit, shot in LA with Refinery29 and directed by Anna Lauren Tufekci. Watch them all here! The third is my favorite. https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/nikki-reed-jewelry-business-finances
Queerspawn Anthology had its US book launch on January 23rd at Bluestockings Café. I was honored to emcee the night of readings from the book and to celebrate with the book’s editors, contributors, and the vibrant queerspawn community in attendance.
